#Updates

We are open.

// updated 02/15/2024 @ 9:46pm PST

Church is open, gathering, and will never close again.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
   --Hebrews 10:23-25

Everything below this is archived, not to be deleted, to show how we handled the Covid lockdowns and following paradigm shift (2020 - 2023).

We are the Church.

Church leadership has been keeping close to everything going on with the Covid-19 pandemic and have wisely (James 1:5) & prayerfully moved forward in re-opening the church (initially outdoor services) since Christ is the Head of the Church and we are called to "assemble together" (Hebrews 10:24-25). While it's true that the church is not a building -- it is the assembling together of the Saints to worship God. We have seen how vital the church is throughout this past 2+years and how much hope is needed in this world that the Church is called to give, faithfully & fearlessly. We love you and care about you - soul, mind and body - and have re-opened with a plan that provides as many options as we can to facilitate the church being together.

Here are the bullet points with more context below (TL;DR):

  • The church building is open for in-person services.
  • We will not close the doors again, no matter what.
  • We will continue to offer as many options as possible (outdoor, livestream, etc.)
  • All are welcome whether masked, un-masked, vaccinated or unvaccinated.
  • As usual, if you are sick or have symptoms please stay home, join us online, and let us know so we can keep you in prayer.
  • Connect with us if you are seeking counsel re: a religious exemption for vaccine requirements or anything else.
  • Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

RE-OPENING PLAN (1-2-3)

Layer 1: in-person (indoors)

  • If you are sick please stay home, and let us know so we can keep you in prayer! (Join us on our livestream)
  • You can wear a mask if this makes you feel more comfortable.
  • God welcomes us and we are not to pass judgement on one another, therefore all are welcome no matter your political persuasions. (Romans 14:1-23)
  • Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the Foyer, Sanctuary, and restrooms.
  • We have outdoor seating available with a TV set up that is live-streaming the service from inside.
  • Restrooms are open and will be cleaned more often.
  • Calvary Kids will be in the main service for the first set of worship and will split after to go outside into the Kids Ark.
  • Anchored Youth (7th - 12th graders) will be in the main service and hanging out after service.
  • Our Hospitality ministry is back at it and serving goodies after service to facilitate fellowship - which we hope all can enjoy!
  • If you've made it this far and would like to give us your feedback we'd love to get it: SURVEY.

Layer 2: Outdoor seating

  • When we are doing service indoors, we will have a TV outside that will be streaming the service from inside so that you can enjoy it while staying outdoors if this makes you more comfortable.
  • If this is your first time joining us - welcome! It will help us gauge attendance/capacity if you reserve-a-spot so we can be best prepared. Thank you.

Layer 3: @home/online

  • We are working hard to make this experience enjoyable and inclusive for all who are unable to make it whether you are sick or not able to make it to a church gathering.
  • We will continue live-streaming to our Facebook and YouTube, every Sunday @ 10am. All messages will be archived to our YouTube channel.
There is no judgement as to what layer you feel most comfortable with. Differing viewpoints during this tumultuous season gives us no reason to divide. This will pass, but the work of the church will not, until this age has ended. We must, "make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:1-3)
